What is RustServerList.com?

RustServerList.com is an international website listing Rust servers, created to provide up-to-date and accurate information for every player looking for a new server. Our platform is fast, transparent, and easy to use, allowing you to quickly find the Rust server that best suits your preferences.

How can I filter servers?

With our detailed search and filtering system, you can easily find Rust servers that match your preferences. You can filter by options such as: Last wipe, Next wipe, Region, Group limit, Gather rate, or sort by criteria like player count, name, or points.

How can I join a server in the game?

Once you've found the Rust server that fits your needs, joining is very simple. On the server's page, you'll find a Connect button or the IP address, which allows you to join directly. Start Rust, press F1 to open the console, and type the following command: client.connect IP:PORT After pressing Enter, the game will automatically connect you to the selected server. If the server is full, you'll be placed in a queue and automatically joined as soon as a slot becomes available.

How are servers ranked?

Servers are ranked based on a score system. The score is influenced by several factors, such as votes, player activity, and server uptime/activity.

What does it mean when a server is "featured"?

Featured servers are those that have purchased a highlighted placement to appear more prominently in the list. This helps server owners reach more players and gain visibility.

What is the difference between modded and vanilla Rust servers?

Vanilla servers run the original, unmodified version of Rust - everything works exactly as the developers designed it. Modded servers, however, use various plugins, modifications, and custom settings to provide unique gameplay experiences. Examples include faster gather rates, teleport commands, kits, or even PvE modes.

What does "wipe" mean? How often do wipes happen?

A wipe means a full reset of the server - the map, buildings, and player progress are all deleted. The purpose of a wipe is to ensure equal opportunities for all players and to maintain long-term balance on the server. Most servers wipe weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

How can I claim my server on the list?

Visit your server's page and click the "Claim" button. Then follow the on-screen instructions.

How can I add my own server to the list?

Our website automatically detects and adds new Rust servers, so in most cases, no manual action is required. However, if your server isn't yet listed, don't worry - you can easily add it manually. Log in to your account, go to My Servers, and select Add New Server. Fill out the required information, and your server will appear in the list among the others.

Are server statuses and data updated automatically?

Yes, all server data and statistics are automatically refreshed to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date information possible. Our system regularly checks all listed servers, so players always see their real, current status.

What happens if my server is temporarily offline?

If a server goes temporarily offline, our website automatically marks it as Offline until it becomes available again. Servers that remain unreachable for an extended period are automatically removed to ensure only active and accessible servers are displayed.

Can I report a problematic server?

If you believe a server violates our rules or contains inappropriate content, you can easily report it through our list. First, find the server you'd like to report and open its page. You'll find a "Report Server" button - click it to open the report form and briefly describe the issue. Once submitted, our team will review your report and take appropriate action if necessary, ensuring that only reliable and rule-compliant servers appear on the list.

What are the rules for listing servers?

RustServerList.com aims to provide a fair, safe, and community-friendly environment for all players. It is strictly prohibited to display any illegal, harmful, or misleading content on the list. Such servers are automatically removed to protect the community. Activities involving cheating, deception, hate speech, or actions that harm other players' experience are also forbidden. Our goal is to keep RustServerList.com a reliable, fair, and positive community platform for both players and server owners.
